Bust - CPU or Motherboard?

Hi all,

I have a 2nd machine used as a server. It's loaded with an old 2500-M Athlon XP Processor and an NF7-S V.2 motherboard.

I started it yesterday and it powered up without the usual "Bleep" and the screen was just black?

The motherboard light (red) is on ok, so I presuming the CPU has given up the ghost?

Anyone suggest any way I can be sure? (apart from the obvious, buying a replacement CPU LOL)

Try a CMOS clear and reseating everything i.e cards, RAM cpu etc.., a single beep is usually good. Make sure you got everything like the monitor on/connected etc.
