buy 4200 and sell opteron 175, worth it?

i've moved my 175 to my media centre pc, no longer overclocking it

will i get much back if i sell the 175 and put a 4200 in there instead?


it's a 4gb ddr3200, hd2600pro, socket939 vista 64 media centre

Your about 6 months too late to do so, the chips are almost worthless.

There far from worthless, a quick look on the bay and there's two listings for Opteron 175 at £100 each.

Those are on a buy it now, there are no bids on them.

And there are plenty under "Completed Listings" sold between £80-£100

Should still get £50ish on MM for a 175...maybe a bit less.
