Buy a game on Mac App store - works with ipad for free?

Hi all, quick question.

If I was to buy a game or an app using the App Store on my MBP does that mean I can:

a) Uninstall it and then download it at a later date for free if I so wish?
b) If the game is also for iPhone/iPad it will work with those two devices and I won't have to buy it for each device?

a) Yes. You can also install it on other Macs you control.

b) No. Currently the Mac App Store and the iOS App Store are separate. It's possible to get apps on the iOS App Store that contain both an iPhone and an iPad interface but Mac is still separate.

I'd imagine they'll merge at some point though.
 
Ah ok fair enough! I was just looking at getting a little time waster game for my 13" 2010 MBP - The game Virtual City. One of the reviews said they loved playing it on their iPad.

If I was to get OS Lion I can download it as many times as I want, even after a full reinstall of OSX correct?

^ This. I reckon by OS XI we will see some form of merging of the two stores.
