Buy a top of the range camera phone or camera?

I have around £1000 to spend, I have a decent camera phone, but thinking of buying an actual camera.

If so, I'm a auto shoot type of guy, video recording is important to me.

Or should I just upgrade my phone?

Auto and video, might as well stick to a phone I'd say.
