I am planning on purchasing the Galaxy S6 as well as some other Samsung tech products.

The price is the same on Amazon (3rd party marketplace seller) as it is direct from Samsung.

I have always been pleased with Amazon's customer service, though does this apply to marketplace sellers?

Which would you recommended in relation to customer care, warranty, etc.?

Thanks.

How has your experience been ordering from Samsung direct, I've heard their customer care is horrible?

I just go onto their UK store, order and deliveries come on time. Never had a problem with that and I've never had to deal with their customer care. They do have a walk in service centre that isn't too far away so it's an added bonus.

This.

If it was an Amazon sold or fulfilled by Amazon item I'd go with them otherwise buy direct.

Are Amazon marketplace sellers not still governed by Amazon rules? Also I think you can get Amazon involved if the marketplace seller isn't playing nice.

Unfortunately in Northern Ireland their is no samsung store.

Absolutely terrible. I had to raise a case against Barclaycard to get a refund when I had issues with my S7.

It seems everywhere has terrible customer service, well perhaps not OCUK ;)

Okay so a bit more research and it appears that if you buy from amazon marketplace you aren't covered under the "consumer credit act" or if you pay via paypal.

So my final choice is direct from Samsung or from "very.co.uk", any opinions on which?
