Hi all,

I am looking to either build a system or buy one for my kids but dont know which way to go??

I dont mind if its amd or intel. (prefer Dual Core either way though)
They want vista home premium
Will play games (Sim 2 so far)

Budget is £500 for everything including monitor.

If build any idea's what to get?
If buy again any idea's??

any help would be appriciated

Thanx lcbs

my logic is that you always get the better deal by building it yourself

but £500 is a bit tight especially if you want Vista and a monitor

Welcome to the forums! :D

I'd say build, it's fun and you get more for your money. I'd also advise C2D (Intel) over AMD but that budget is a little tight.

Can't get anything cheaper than this tbh.

The integrated graphics should handle Vista and Sim 2 just fine. You can also get a graphics card if you want to play more demanding games.
