buy vive now or wait?

Need opinions!

I can get the vive with 10% off thanks to a friend who gets a staff discount at a certain store.

With black friday just a week away do i sit and wait to see if it'll drop lower than the price he can get it for? (staff discount can't be used on sale items).

So, buy now for 686quid (ish) or wait...

Apparently there is going to be a Vive Black Friday Sale, so I would hold off until you see what this Sale offers. I'm guessing there's no time frame on which you need to use your friends staff discount.

I dont think we will see any vr hardware discounts on black friday at all, just buy it now and enjoy.

I agree the Vive is still pretty new so I can't see anywhere offering any discount, decent or otherwise, yet. £686 is a pretty good price considering the recent price rise.

I would wait and see if there's any discount, if not just buy it just after the sale, it's only a few days to wait

Decided the price was good enough so went to buy it today.

Turns out staff discount is barred on that item

May as well wait until friday now, fingers crossed!

It's worth just have a couple hundred quid spare as well for all the games you will end up buying

Some really good ones coming out in the few weeks as well
