Following on with this thread.
Brief helpful quote from the above link:
You can run 2 monitors.

One will have to have a DVI-D connection (or HDMI using an adapter) and can be up to 1920x1200 resolution at 60Hz.

One will have to have a VGA connection and can be up to 2048 x 1536 at 75 Hz.

If you want 2 identical monitors then you're limited to a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 at 60Hz.

Can anyone help me please so by the sounds of it I need to find a monitor that has the following:

-A VGA port
-A DVI-D port
-1920x1200 at 60Hz

Correct me if I am wrong.

Approx budget is £180 for both monitors altogether not per monitor (cheaper the better :D)
Monitors would be used for browsing the internet (i.e. reading news/forums), monitors would also be used for work (i.e. word processing etc...)
Monitors would not be needed for gaming (sadly no time for gaming :()
Monitor size anything between 19"-22" (whatever money can buy)

What's your total budget for both monitors?

From your other thread I assume no gaming but what sort of things will you be doing on the PC?

You'll be after monitors with both DVI-D and VGA connections.

What sort of size did you have in mind?

thanks updated first post

Unfortunately ~£180 is only going to buy you something like 2 of these which are 20" 1600x900 resolution:

If you can stretch the budget a little then you can get 22" 1920x1080 resolution (when in stock):

OcUK E2250SWDA 22" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black

Alternatively buy one better monitor now and a second when you have a bit more money to play with.

how about £200 budget?

edit: I found something better but am I allowed to link it?

That just takes you back to these @ £99.95:

OcUK E2250SWDA 22" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black

The next cheapest 22" (well 21.5") is £107.99.

The cheapest 23" is £149.99.

The cheapest 24" is £124.99.

Plus there's the cost of delivery if you haven't factored that in.

okay cheers

Just wondering in general but how do you know the max refresh rate is 60Hz?

In general not just based on this monitor you provided.
