buying a 2nd 7800GT

well i'm thinking of going SLI, but waiting till july to do it, is it worth risking waiting that long not really in the hope of a price drop but of them still being affordable and buyable?
 
The 7800 GT are not getting made anymore so when etailers are out of stock your only option is getting one second hand.

There are plenty about going for 150-160 so maybe second hand would be the better route.
 
If it was me, i would sell your current card and put all the money towards a X1900XT or 7900GTX. The ATi cards are at a great price and perform really well.
