Hopefully my dad won't look here.....
This year is my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary and they are heading to Canada (was meant to happen 5 years ago but thats another thread).
They do not want me buying the traditional gifts etc so I thought of something a little mor unusual. A Camera. They are going somewhere I would desperately love to go but cannot afford so I thought they might be able to get some photo's for me to try and compensate a little
Right now they have a fairly old point and click type digital camera that is fine for fun snaps but not much good for where they are heading. They shall hopefully be visiting the Rockies and Niagra Falls whilst out there and I don't think the current camera will be up to much.
What Camera would peeps in here reccommend?
Only real critera are:
Lightweight
Good selection of lenses available
Not too Expensive
What can you point me at?
