Buying a cheap second graphics card to support a third screen?

I have a GTX 580 at the minute and I have 3 monitors but the 580 can only display 2 of them at any one time so I was wondering if I bought something like a 210 could I plug the third monitor into that and have my gtx 580 do all the work? Or would the card be doing all the work on that screen. Its for desktop browsing and iRacing. I know I can't use Nvidia surround but there is a program(SoftTH) that lets you use 3 monitors that are different sizes and such.

Just curious really :)
