Buying a jailbroken 3GS

hi guys been offered a 3gs cheap, it has been jailbroken to be unlocked and has very old software on it (facebook wont work anymore)

I want to buy it and restore it back to its factory settings im not bothered what network its locked to

any advice on what to do with it? or how to get it back to factory without bricking it?

just plug it in and update it via itunes

Should be able to plug it in and choose restore.

Otherwise force it into DFU mode then plug it in and restore.
