Buying A Laptop

Hey hoping for some help as i'm not very good with Laptop's. I have £650 to spend and i need a laptop for college work (Word, excel ext), web browsing email, i do like to multi task programs so something that can keep up would be nice. wont be gaming on it or anything like that as I have a desktop for that. need to carry it around college and sit on my knee so something that wont break my back / crush my legs would be nice :P

Any ideas would be appreciated as i'm lost when it comes to laptops.

Hey i ended up going for the Lenovo.

Now im looking at getting an M4 SSD to go into it. Looking at the manual for it now it says.

this one

Hard Drive Form Factor: 2.5 inch, 9.5mm or 2.5 inch, 7.0mm

does this mean either will fit or i need to open it to find out what's in it at the moment?
