Buying a Mac in the US

Hey folks,

My friend is picking up a MBP from Chicago today and he's wondering what he'll need for it to work in the UK. He could get one of those Apple travel packs I guess with the different plug adapters but is there any others things to note regarding the more powerful plug sockets in the UK?

The charger can take a range of input voltages 100-240 I believe so you just need the correct plug.

It's only the plug that's different, the rest of the charger's the same

Yup, I got my MBP in NYC (the nice shiny glass apple store) and got the 'Travel Pack' so it worked perfectly fine here

Once back in the UK I bought a power cord off eBay (so I didn't have to plug the power adapter into the wall)
