Hi guys, I am finally planning to upgrade my 5 year old dell, and was looking at the "'Ultima Viper' Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz DDR3 System", but had a couple of questions.

Firstly, I'm mostly playing Starcraft 2 at the moment, and wondered if this system would be able to run it on max settings at 1920x1080 as I was also planning to get a new monitor in the near future, and if so what graphics card would that require. Secondly how noisy would it be?

Thanks!

The Viper is a powerful system, it will destroy starcraft 2 on max settings. Just go for a 460 gtx or higher :D

Very quiet, as our systems ship with the fans set to low.

My friend has that system with a 5870 in it, it's absolutely brilliant and plays even Crysis at that resolution on very high no problem.

He's also getting very good temps with it too, his cpu hits 60-65c max whilst gaming at 4ghz and the system itself is fairly quiet.

As above though, go for a GTX460/5850 or higher if you can so the card scales great with the cpu overclock.
