I'm looking to build a new pc in the coming months, my pc isn't at the level I need it to be so I've decided to buy a whole new pc. My dad has been using this forum for almost 20 years and recommended to sign up and see what people think. Sorry for not linking my basket like others do I have no idea how to

These are the parts I'm looking at buying:

CPU - Intel Core i7-9700k 3.6GHz (Coffee Lake) Socket LGA1151
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8gb) DDR4 3600MHz
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z390 UD Intel Z390 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX
Cooler - Corsair Hydro Series H45 Performance Liquid CPU Cooler 120mm
HDD - WD 1TB Blue 7200rpm 60MB Cache
SSD - WD Green 3d NAND 240GB
Case - Kolink Stronghold Midi Tower
GPU - Asus Geforce RTX 2060 Dual EVO OC 6144MB GDDR6
PSU - Kolink Enclave 600W 80 Plus Gold

Any help is appreciated :)

There are new cpu just released by Amd which perform stronger than intel so it mite be worth looking at that option.

As for your build there are newer options
Case you should be looking for better air flow
Kolink psu is not a quality option which should be considered
You should get a large ssd for windows and games as you want them on the fastest drive.

What's your budget ?

Hi thanks for the response, I saw the new amd processors and was starting to look into them as I had heard good reviews already and they seem really good for the price, i was particularly looking at the 5600x as it is cheaper.

my budget is around £900-£1000, thanks

I've tried to keep it as close to the budget without compromising to much, 5600x comes with stock cooler.

If you go for a ryzen 3600 which you can get for £180 and b450 tomahawk £100 that is also an option.

CODE My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,027.19 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Overall your original build is pretty solid apart from the psu, but there are do many variations in builds it's up to you which way to go.

Was the total of your build ?

The price of the build I originally posted was around £900 total, buying parts from a few different websites. The build looks very good to me however im not amazing with budgeting and stuff like that.

Would you expect the build you provided to be able to run any game in a stable way with a 1080p monitor? And also im not sure if this is the right place to ask but how would this build also cope with video editing if you know?

Thank you again!
