Every time I think I find some ddr4 to buy theres an issue like its 3600 that wont even do 3000mhz etc
any idea ? should i get crucial or b die and is there a source that tells us that the ram were buying is b die ?

i'm looking for cl 16 3600 that will actually comfortably do that speed and timing ?

+ 1 watching with intrest.
from what I can gather only 14-14-14-31 and 14-14-14-34 timing is b-die ?

So I think it's just a case of buying cas 14 with those timings and it should clock past 3600

or buy 4400mhz ddr4 which is almost certainly has to be b-die ?

No mate don't rush in i'm not yet but it makes sense as all the cl14 stuffs the most pricey but you must read the small print specs
example corsair is selling some C14 stuff but when you look further it's actually cl 15 timings at 3200mhz

I just went for patriot viper 3600 c15 in the end wont be b-die but it doesn't seem like 3600 based system and mid range gpu even benefits from above 3600 speeds much until you're at high end gear

i got conned (not by ocuk)they use the base timings to make it look like you're getting 3600 cl15 in product descriptions why is the patriot viper 3600 stuff cl 17 wow
ill see if it can do CL16 at 3600 if not it's going back don't like the way they word it loosely like that thought i was buying c15 ram but thats c15 at 2100

update they are doing CL16 at 1800 so i guess ill just keep them
