Buying an expired domain from ad companys.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

I would quite like to buy a domain I owned when I made my first webpage. The company site says it will only accept a minimum offer of 200 dollers.

It has been for sale for 10 years and receives no traffic for their ads.

Does anyone know if these kind of companys can be bartered down?

They are domain resellers, and it won't be worth their time selling it for less than 200 dollars, so it's unlikely you will be able to barter them down. Your only hope might be they drop the domain one day, but then it might go to another domain catcher / reseller.

If you want it from them, you'll probably have to pay the minimum. Having said that, there's no harm in asking if they'll accept less, but they'll probably say no.

That is a well known US drop catching site. However, you'll only ever get the domain if the present company drops it. To learn more about domains, see:
