Buying an IPad Mini

Hi All,

Looking to buy one of these (perhaps Mini 2 unless there is a compelling reason to go for the more recent one?) but an confused by the options available.

There are many on Amazon for considerably less than direct from Apple - all sold by third party sellers though.

What's the catch here?

The 2 is much better than the first version. 3 is basically the same as 2 but with the fingerprint protection thing included.

At this moment in time the best Mini to go for is the 2 (Retina).
