Buying an IPS TV using HDMI 2.0b over a dedicated monitor ? Yes or No.

I've looked in to this and it looks like if you use HDMI 2.0 you can game at 60 FPS at 4k

My question is apart from a little MS delay will I notice any issues
 
Like for like, it's a good way to go if the size isn't an issue, and that may actually be a benefit as you're obviously looking at 40"+ so you'll have some 'wow' factor there. Where you may see the difference though is vs a 4K monitor with G-Sync/Freesync. The 1080Ti is a capable card, but adaptive sync is still very useful for demanding games.

If your budget allows, have you ruled out a monitor such as the AOC AG352UCG? Faster refresh, greater immersion and much less demanding while still looking amazing.
