Buying an OcUK pre-built system

Is it possible for OcUK to put in additional ram? The PC Builder section doesn't seem to have the facility unfortunately and would like to put in 4GB over the standard 2GB. Can you arrange it over the phone?

Why not order the system with the extra RAM and do it yourself (don't forget to get a 64bit OS). Its pretty simple.

Last time I used the PC Builder option it was quite a lot more expensive than the pre-built systems already listed on the site. Don't know if they've adjusted the prices since but it's worth looking at the listed ones before you buy.

why would you want 6gb? either go for 4gb or go the whole hog and get 8 while memory is so cheap.

I think he means he wants 4gb in the machine instead of the 2gb that is offered, not 4gb on top of the 2gb

Excuse my rudeness OP, however as you're here Slackworth, is it possible to send a webnote with a spec to be built or is this not possible?
If so, what do OcUK charge for custom build?

I'll be ordering shortly however pretty short for time working overtime and the 1yr warranty isn't bad.

Just been looking at the Primo Advance AMD Athlon X2 4800+ 2.5GHz SILENT DDR2 System.

Ideally I'd like 4gb of ram and I'd maybe increase the CPU to the 6k one. I wouldn't be using the PC for gaming, but need it to be reasonably fast for photoshop and having a fair few windows open.

If I can call up and make changes to the standard spec over the phone then that would be perfect.
