Hi all

Is it right that if i purchase an xbox play anywhere title on xbox that available in the windows pc game store also then i can also download it for pc with no charge as long as my credentials are the same for both ?

does this also work the other way round ?

Thanks

If you buy a digital copy of an Xbox game that is "play anywhere" then you will be able to play it on both console and PC ( via the Xbox app ). The opposite is also true ie. if you buy a digital "play anywhere" from the Xbox storefront on PC then you'll also have access to it on Xbox console. But note: not all 1st party Xbox games are "play anywhere" and it's essential that you purchase a digital license. Owning a disc ( for console ) won't give you access to the game on PC, even if that title is otherwise "play anywhere".
