as i recently bought the 360, been on here more and more. Have noticed so many of you guys playing brand new games like Saints Row and Dead Rising.

Do you guys just pre order every game and then sell them right away ?

As i can't really afford spending say £40 a game, i normally wait til they are second hand or cheaper, more like £20 a game.

I don't buy that many new games, I just seem to get games that last along time, still playing Oblivion since launch and I can see me playing Saints Row for awhile aswell (Im having too much fun in my JCB)

Was just really looking forward to Saints Row, so I pre-oredered it. Not going near Dead Rising till I can get it relatively cheap, I cant believe in this day and age they are releasing fully single player games on the 360.

Dont buy that many new games, and I have vowed not to buy that many so I can dedicate some time to some I still havent completed.

I do buy games now and then brand new and sometimes even pre-order but a majority of those I have (only have 11) are bought off a well known auction site for between £14 and £25, I've never paid more for one (inc P&P).

I even got BF2, sealed brand new for £18, think Kameo sealed was £14 :D

I paid £33 for Saints Row preordered and got it a day before release, so i cant complain.

The majority of time I'll buy them new, from GamePlay, and sell them on for about half-the-price.

Same, although I tend to buy from game.co.uk or hmv.co.uk depending on how cheap I can get them.

Every so often stores do 'discount' weekends where they offer £5 if you spend more than £30. When this happens I tend to place pre-orders for all the games I really want.
I also get reward points for hmv and game.

I got Saints Row for £29.99 on Tuesday for a preorder from hmv, £5 off for their easter weekend and £5 from my loyalty card even though I'd only ever bought 1 game from them and today I got Dead Rising from game for £29.99 (£10 off from a similar deal over 6 months ago).

I'll tend to play them through but rarely go back to a game and bar the odd one I'll sell them on the members mart for c.£25 so each game is really only costing me £15 or so.

Keep an eye on members mart as you'll see most games appear at some point for a good price.

If I get rally excited about a game (Like Saint's Row) then I'll preorder. Else I will wait and grab it for £17.99 brand new from various online places.

THe only two games I have bought on release are Saint's Row And Test Drive Unlimited. I got GRAW with my 360, Table Tennis as it was cheap and will get Condemned and some others for their excelent £17.99 price tag.

i rent game from swapgame.com

10 quid a month for as many games as i can play in that month

ive just had a note saying ive got dead rising on rental from them, so it should be here 2mora like most peoples pre orders

I usually buy at the Supermarket as the prices are about the same as online plus I dont have to go trekking down the sorting office to go pick up parcels on a Saturday afternoon (both working full time so difficult to have someone in).

I tend to buy every game that I like the look of, sometimes good (N3 - I really like) or sometimes bad (stinky Chromehounds) just on the basis of what I read on here for recommendations. I can always chop it in at a later date should I need the extra cash towards something.
