buying camera overseas

I am currently on Malaysia for a wedding, I was thinking of buying a dslr. would you guys buy a camera from overseas? I was looking at a Nikon d5600 it is about £75-£100 cheaper in KL than the online prices I have seen in the UK.

I brought my D3200 in KL, was about £80 cheaper so I thought worth it. The only thing is I am not sure about warranty entitlement but fortunately I never had to claim.

Bought my 7D from digitalrev which is grey import. Canon don't honour warranties on grey imports. I worked out the cost of one left me some cash to fix it if needed.

I don't think I'd buy a camera whilst overseas, but the last two bodies and 4 lenses have come from:
pana
moz

I've used their 3 year UK warranty at Sony UK, without any problems.
Great prices and service.
