Buying CD/Steam keys

A few of the key sites look really shady to me. Probably selling vietnamese keys or something equally risky that may get accounts banned

Don’t understand why people keep posting G2play for steam keys. As posted on the steam forum by staff that G2play is not an authorized reseller and steam have blocked all posts on the steam forum for that site
so what? its no different to buying a game from ebay or any independent store...

Getgamesgo are also good. I bought a steam key from them over xmas period. Went smoothly. Instant email reply with the key after sending paypal payment.

As mentioned, Greenmangaming also very good.

greenmangaming was good for magicka for moi, although i bought saints row 2 from gamersgate and it turned out to only be the german copy (incredibly censored, and well, german) so make sure you know that it's steam redeemable in english too

savygamer.co.uk usually shows if it's steam-y and also has most good dealios :)

Greenmangaming, Getgamesgo, Direct2Drive, Gamersgate, and a number of others, these are authorised sellers.

g2play, cjs cd keys and other similar resellers are not and may result in your Steam account banned or games removed.

If you buy from ebay, it's always safer to buy a boxed version of a steamworks game unless the codes you're buying come from official promotional vouchers or whatever.

The problem is that if they're not an authorised seller there's no guarantee they aren't just generating keys themselves, meaning you could well find yourself in hot water with steam.
