I used to buy paintball marks and parts from the USA and have always been hit with a tax bill but the massive difference in price outweighs any tax bill.

I got a carbon barrel tip for £30 with free postage(about 2 weeks) and paid the tax but the same part in the uk from just paintball was £90
 
Aliexpress is great, just spent nearly £400, no import duty or VAT! It's like magic...
It’s almost as if SE Asian vendors don’t correctly declare customs values.

Once upon a time, there was a Hong Kong based airsoft shop that would ask what percentage of the actual value you wanted declared on the customs documentation.

Haha yer I had this with paintball parts. The only thing that concerned me was if the parcel was lost would it affect the claim. If you pay £400 and only declare £200 would the insurance value of the parcel cover the full £400 or the amount that was declared
