Buying from xbox live

Why did they limit it to visa/mastercard/american express

I dont have either and the gf has a switch so i cant order anything from the comfort of my own chair.

Did some 1 say on here it was possible to order it with a diff card tho?

You can buy points from online/offline retailers and enter the code into Live, normally ends up slightly cheaper as you get more points IIRC

what type of card is it mate, i only have a visa electron debit card and its never been turned down anywhere, even when sites say debit cards arnt accepted

I'd guess with Live being an international service, they will specifically want internationally recognised card types.

Best thing to do is just buy points / live cards via a retailer/e-tailer, and just stick them in that way. Takes a bit longer, but it's likely cheaper in the end anyway.
