Buying Full Conductors scores

does anybody know?????

hey,

iv been trying to find full conductors scores for full orchestra for films such as fellowship of the ring and braveheart. i cant find any anywhere!

does anybody know where to purchase these scores??

yeah i found that. I would have thought they would be very common. See if they have full orchestra scores. none of the arrangements of the best bits pish.

I think you'll have difficulty trying to obtain 'full' scores for the vast majority of modern films as they aren't usually published in any sort of complete form; normally, so much editing goes on with the soundtrack to a film that I'd be surprised if a single such thing actually exists, unfortunately.

If you can get in touch with some of the publishing companies of the excerpts / highlights / arrangements scores you may be able to get a definite answer for each specific film. When I've looked into buying full orchestral scores (with parts and all) for major works before I've always suffered minor heart attacks at the prohibitive cost and ended up hiring them instead. I think one place wanted £1500 for Pulcinella and that's only a short chamber orchestra work! :eek:

i would appreciate that very much. Iv managed to find little excerpts and such but no full scores. I really want to study them while listening to the track. I will contact some pub companies
