Has anyone ever bought a digital game from a gold selling website?

Reason I ask is because I found a digital collectors edition of Rift for £25 which is pretty good, everywhere else it's £30-35 but the people selling is a gold selling website and I don't know if I should trust it, they can either just keep my money and don't deliver or deliver and 2 months down the line steal my cd key or something =x.

I think I bought guild wars from a gold selling website but you can never be too careful , anyone have any experience with this?

It's what they do with your CC details afterwards that's the problem... gold sellers don't play with accounts they pay for themselves :p

If it was me, I'd be of the opinion that an extra 5 quid is very much worth the extra peace of mind that comes from buying it somewhere more "reputable"

Would give it a very wide berth, wouldn't want my game or personal details associated with that type of outfit. Pay the extra fiver and avoid having to check your CC or bank statement online every day. :p

Think about it, a lot of people who get hacked are sure they've never entered their details in a key logging site. I got my inactive WoW account back after like 2 years of selling it because I had the original CD Key and can prove it. They could do the same.

You can upgrade the standard edition to the collections edition for £5 on the Rift web site so just shop around for the standard.

I would pay the extra and then not have to worry about when my bank account will be emptied

i wouldnt buy from a gold seller/powerseller website...

a lot of the cdkey selling websites are legit though ive used some before and never had any issues

You can? That's awesome, does anyone know if overclockers sell the digital version or the retail version? (Would I have to wait for key) :D

I think there's an internet payment provider that has one use credit card numbers, I noticed when I was looking into matched betting. I think it was moneybookers but don't quote me on that.
