Buying Google +1's... worth it?

Looking at some "cheap" ways to get some +1's on one of my sites. Has anyone used a paid for +1 service?

I understand that +1s have relevance for personal searches and pages +1 by your Google+ connections but is the wider world of SEO effected by it?

What are your thoughts on the matter? It actually worth it?

If you want a quick boost with the detriment of a Google slap later sure knock yourself out. Just don't complain when you get de-indexed and all your +1's revoked

I understand the risks but also trying to weigh up the ranking benefits for +1's. Already have a number of social media shares / likes etc... but thinking about promoting the +1s more for a little bump upwards.
