Hello. I have just ordered the MSI GeForce GTX 580 OC Twin FrozR II ( https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-116-MS). I need a new power supply to go with the card and don't know which one will work.

My specs:
G31M-GS Motherboard
Q6600 2.4 Ghz
3GB DDR2 Ram
OCZ500SXS power supply (which needs replacing because it only has a 4+2 pin PCI, but I need 6 and 8 pin for 580.)
9800gt (current gpu which is getting replaced).

What power supply can I use on my system that will also be enough for the 580.

I have been looking at this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-053-OC . Which has a 20+4 ATX pin which I think will fit in the 24 pin slot on the motherboard. But I am not sure if it is compatible.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

very over the top for a 580, even if sli you wont need that

a decent 850w will be enough even for sli later

thanks.
would you be to recommend any specific power supplies that would work ? that would be helpful.

also will the power supply fit in my motherboard ? because I know it's an old mobo.

thanks.
