Hi guys,

I'm not a petrol-head, so would appreciate some advice/suggestions.

Looking to buy, with a 12k budget

Have no real requirements but favour cars like Audi A3, VW Golf, Scirocco.

Are there any alternatives I'm missing out on, and what's a fair mileage / age for the budget

Is a 60 plate with 30,000 miles preferable to a 61 with 50,000?......

Any help appreciated.

Considering the ones you've already mentioned, the SEAT Leon is worth considering. I'm undoubtedly biased as I've just recently got one but I love it. You should be able to get an FR for that money e.g:

What are you after from a car?

What's your daily commute / yearly mileage?

Do you need 2 or 4 doors? Do you have kids? Do you want something with a bit of or a lot of performance?

I reckon mileage will be around 12,000

No preference of 3 or 5 doors tbh

Saw a Pro'Ceed today en-route to work - looks very good!
