Just wondered if it will be the same system as buying the old iPihone or do you think Apple have switched on to jailbreaking?

Thinking of selling my 8G iPhone for a new one but want to keep my simplisity tariff.

Any ideas?

They are offering them on Pay as you go aswell though.

Will they not be £100?

Considering that people on £30/35 contract have to pay £99, the probability of a PAYG iphone for £100 is as likely as Steve Job working for Bill Gates.

I thought £100 on Pay as you go was too go to be true.

Ahh well looks like I will be sticking with my Nokia 5310 for the mean time.

I'll probably get one on the £35 contract and pay the £100, i would do the £45 but it works out as £170 more over the 18 months.

£170?

£10 x 18 = £180

£99 fee for £35 contract.

Surely that's the difference of £101 (lets call it £100 shall we?).

So its £80 more for double the minutes, not £170.

I allow you that point, he did make a mistake on the calculation. I was just saying that that the extra £80 is only worth it if you would use that.

I for one would use more texts as I doubt my friends will go out and by it so I wont be able to just email them.

I'll be getting one as soon as they are released. Plus iPhone dock + screen protector + insurance. Bring on July the 11th. :D

I'm going to Canada for 8 months in late July. I want to buy the new iPhone, and then unlock it so that I can use a PAYG Canadian SIM while I'm out there (and then use it when I got back obviously). Will the iPhone work out in the states (eg. old phones needed to be tri-band or something), because I bloody hope it does!
