Buying laptop without Windows bundled with it?

Hi,

A year or two back I remember Dell offering there laptop's without windows but with ubuntu for about £30-£50 cheaper. They appear to have stopped :/

Any other companies doing this?

Yeh there is a sweet one I found at kobalt computers, seems to be for HD movie watches though, I may look at the clevo route, want something without windows and build like a tank with 4gb ram and a fast cpu and not to pap g card.

I'm not fully anti-MS, I already own 4 x win7 licences, I don't need to waste money on a 5th. I have found a place called kobalt that builds laptops and will get one of them in a few weeks.
