Buying my first gaming laptop.

So to start off I do have a gaming desktop that'll be used 90% of the time however there's plenty of time spent away from my desktop that I would like to be able to use a laptop. It will be setup and used at a desk probably with a mouse and keyboard so weight and even battery life aren't huge considerations. I'm looking to spend less than £1200 but below 1000 if possible.

Could anybody reccomend a system for me? I've done a lot of google research etc and had a look through these forums but I'd like some more personalised advice.

I really like Lenovo Legions - grab one with the specs you like and your budget? Very happy with the two in my sig.

I use them as desktop replacements too, but prefer 15", rather than 17".

I'd say 15" bit too small for proper gaming. Personally I'd plug into my monitor 27" 2560x1440

If they are plugging into a monitor, surely, the op would use their PC?
