Hi I'm lost on the internet with flashy websites and deals everywhere, I dont really know what's a good deal anymore! So I thought I'd ask you guys what sort of computer you'd buy with £600-700 (maybe a but more if it's really worth it). I use it for games like wow and battlefield and also university work and statistical programmes. Thanks for the advice!!

Hi.

Are you able to build yourself or do you want a pretty built system?

Would you need an OS, monitor and keyboard/mouse included in the budget too?

Are you wanting to Overclock or not?

Is there any specific programmes your using for your course?

Buying pre-made pre-built systems is a bit risky, as the PSUs and fans are pretty dire. That is why OCUK get good comments, as they build to order using great units.

I'm not too sure, I guess if it's worth building my own I would do that it doesn't look too difficult :)
I only need the operating system included and would prefer windows 7 however could deal with 8.
No over clocking please as I'm not that good at computers to be tampering with that stuff, and the only programme is SPSS statistics.
I already have a 600w corsair PSU, and 8gb ram if that's enough in today's standards :)
What would you guys suggest

Maybe change the case to the next model up which has 2 fans blah blah blah and that will be sweet.

@OP what PSU is it exactly? model number will be on a label somewhere.

What RAM do you have?

Cool.

So even if it was the really tall Vengeance RAM (there was low profile models too) it will fit that little rajintek cooler as its small.

Does your system seem better to you than the rest on here?

My system is based on X99+5960X+32GB+GTX980 so yes it is better than all the systems here.

But the one Tammzzy did is best if you upgrade the case a bit to improve airflow and exhaust the hot air dumped into the case by the XFX gfx card.
