I've looked at broadspeed.com, not much saving!

i remember someone here said he paid £15k for ST-2 but cant find the thread (no search button!)

any good place for cheap focus ST?

cheers :)

You would be better buying a very low mileage car second hand if possible as you can pick an ST-3 with 5K miles up for as low £13800-£14000.

Hi Slackworth,

I've been having a quick look on pistonheads and can't see cars anywhere near as cheap as that with the mileage. Where have you been looking?

New ST's with a discount are rare, Ford really restricted the supply to the likes of broadspeed, there are people still waiting for theirs on STOC who have ordered from broadspeed and the like.Basically Ford would not give these guys any fleet discount like they do with the lesser models.

The only way of getting a new ST discounted is by knowing someone who works for Ford, or being in the army.

If its your own money buy a Golf GTI instead, the ST costs a fair bit to run, lovely car, but too dear to run for what it is.

Didnt the person who paid 15k for a new one get a massive discount because of a family member who worked for Ford?

Do a search on Autotrader. The super duper cheap ones come and go very quickly but I've seen an ST-3 with 10K miles go for £13750 on Autotrader.

The only way you'd get a discount through ford would be through the privledge scheme... to my knowledge the focus st is no longer avaliable through privledge.
