Hello Gents.

I'm looking to get a new GPU within the next month for BF4. I want to spend around £200 so currently eyeing up and passing up deals on 7950s. With the launch of the new AMD GPUs are there going to be ones within that price range or is it just top tier that's getting new.......basically should I hold off a little?

Many thanks

If AMD release a new GPU for around £200, I would bet my money on it being slightly inferior to the 7950, or alternatively if AMD have a GPU of similar power to the 7950 it will cost more than a 7950. Prices are cheap on them as they're about to become end of line.

They are well under £200 for the msi a his 7950 with 3 free games, why would you wait. I waited to get a 660 and they went up in price after 700 series came out so i ended up spending more and getting a gtx670.

Agree on this. You could wait and hope the newer range offer equal performance under a different name however for that very reason (new) it will likely be dearer.

If you have the money now it's a different story, however as you worded the thread 'within a month' you may still be waiting to get hold of the new stock.

Buy one now because 200 quid wont buy much when the new releases are here,i was in the same boat, didnt really want to spend more than 250 and i knew that the new high end cards where gunna be a lot more than 250

so ordered a 7970 yesterday its essentially cost me 200 quid taking into account the free games :)

Get the His IceQ Boost 7950 @ £185, got mine yesterday with SEVEN free games, got Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, Farcry 3 Blood Dragon, Tombraider and the Gold ticket for 3 games of choice, amazing value. :D

Thats the very card that was tempting me!

Thanks guys!

Oh one other thing.....can I sell the games I get? are they just codes to download from where?

Top notch performer even at its old higher price.

At £185 it is incredible value for money.

Hi, my card came on Thursday, had two cards inside with coupon code and the website to redeem. You then get a code for Bioshock Infinite (steam), Crysis 3 (origin), Farcry 3BD (uplay, ubisoft) on one card and the other one has a code for Tombraider (steam). There are explicit instructions on what to do, very easy to follow. I have 3 out of 4 games (no crisis code but it says it will follow soon)from the two cards and I still have my golden ticket for three more games though I will sit on them for a bit to see what comes on the list. You have until the 31st Dec 2013 to choose your games but beware you must take all three at the same time!:D
