Hello all, my medusa 5.1's just died on me, the wire is almost completely torn. Anyways, I am looking for headphones in the 35-40 pound range, I currently have a Sound Blaster Live! sound card, but I'm sound upgrading to an X-Fi. Any reccomendations? I was thinking about the IceMat Siberias, almost all of the reviews I've seen have gotten 8.5+. So guys, what should I buy?

edit: I can go a little higher in price, maybe 55-60. It doesnt have to have a mic attached either...

For £35, I highly recommend the Koss Porta Pro. It is the first pair of headphones that made me go "Wow", and into higher end headphones.

Something by Sennheiser maybe - HD515 are about £50.

Indeed. I couldn't recemend Sennheiser enough. I only just got a pair of them, the model above but they look very much alike.

They are light, strong and very comfortable. You can tell they are quality headphones. Good quality headphones that will last you ages. :)
