I'm looking at getting a new monitor for christmas (yeah, I leave things late!)
Currently still chugging along on a 17" and 19" 1280*1024 pair. They work, but my full HD laptop monitor knocks spots off them. My plan is to get a decent 22 or 24" HD panel now, run with that and the 19", then upgrade to a second matching panel in 6 months or so when I have the money. Any ideas on how long monitors are likely to be out, so I have a chance of gettign a second identical model? FWIW, I'd like to spend about £150 per screen, and probably tending towards 22" for size and performance considerations. (Better performance per £ in the smaller panel)
