Son is off to the US for a year and is now thinking about his PC. He is looking at getting his PC shipped to the US, but i was thinking he could purchase a new one out there?
Anyone done this? Pro's/Cons? Is he able to claim the tax back? I know when i worked overseas, i had stuff shipped to me by Amazon and i could claim the tax back.
Also, PCs cheaper, or more expensive over there? Where to buy?
His current PC is in a very fragile state, as well as the shipping costs, i am not sure it will survive the journey!
