Anyone know of a supplier who provides replacement number plates with the smallest possible makers details? I know it's a legal requirement that number plates are identifiable but I'd rather have the suppliers name as tiny and minuscule as possible.

Hi Feek,

I have ordered these once or twice now:

I don't have the mark at all on my 3/4 sized front plate (fits neatly between the grille and bonnet), never been stopped and gone by plenty of cop cars :D

I don't think anyone actually cares about it as long as the reg is easily readable.

Halfords is the risk free option. The brand name is done in silver but as a cut out so even harder to see/identify as text.

They could well have been on there since before the law changed requiring makers marks.

I fitted them on 6th August 2017, never knew they needed the makers markings but given it only does 4k miles a year i'm not too concerned. :)

Been using eBay ones with no marking for 5-6 years. Never had a problem with police or mots over 6 cars.
