buying tekken 7 on xbox one to play on pc as well

I remember reading in the past that microsoft were letting people who had xbox games, buy games on pc as well. Just wondering how this works, as i have bought an xbox one but would be playing tekken 7 on pc, however because im concerned about the number of players online, I want to get it on xbox one.

So i wanted to know if microsoft were still doing this, and how it works. Thanks

It's called "Play Anywhere" and at the moment only a few titles are available. It's not retroactive for everything on Xbox.

Yeah, it doesn't work for every game so be careful.
