Buying TF2 over steam

right well me brother wants to buy tf2 and doesn't want to buy the orange box, now on steam it's $30 so that's around £15 quid, will there be any extra costs ontop, i think i've read people saying that's like not including vat or something, can someon please confirm

Price is excluding vat so it'll be a little bit more then $30.

you would be better off buying the orange box as it would be cheaper.

When you buy anything from steam there tax ontop of that, but it's not usually a lot.

I find it mad that people will pay £15 for one game, yet won't pay the extra tenner to have everything...

When I bought The Orange Box I think the price came to around £26.50, but I also had a £1.50 debit card service charge, or something like that.

It will be roughly half the cost of the $ amount plus 17.5% VAT. Sometimes (as above) your bank will charge you £1-£1.50 as well.

So it should be £17.50-£19.00 ish.

orange box hl2 episode 1 episode 2 tf2 portal etc etc is available for £18 delievered from a well known site email sent

£12.60 for me just a few days ago (no VAT and $5 discount using clickandbuy on steam)
