Not the same as I currently have no. but i've played GTAIV on worse CPU's than the i3 without issue.

BF3 single player is fine on an i3, multiplayer it seems to start to struggle with a lot of players (cant remember the number, read it somewhere, may have been 30+)
 
Dont be tempted to get lukies build cos it has an I5 attached. I3 wont bottleneck the 7950 on stulids build and will destroy games 1920 * 1080

id go with stulids if gaming on max settings is your main priority

just as a side note few months ago i was running the older i3 clarkdale 3.06 ghz with a 660ti and could still play bf3 everything ultra 4 msaa and 16 aa
