Hi, im a loyal customer to OCUK, but i must admit the thought of buying one of these new i7's in the states when i go over there for xmas does seem tempting. Does anyone know if bringing parts like motherboards and cpu's back in luggage is allowed?

i got some dominator ram from newegg over there and had no probs brining it back, just walk through the nothin to declare and i cant see they willl pick you up over a little cpu.

actually i bough a laptop from usa and asked them to declare that it is worth less 499$ but it was actually worth 1100$. anything below 499 $ u will not get insurance.

but anyway got laptop was waiting for some tax payment to arrive but never got anything .

same laptops in uk cost 1200£

Be careful cos if you excess the custom amount then you may pay extra cost if they check your goods when bring it back to the UK -- it no cheap at all also the £=$ are very bad as it getting too low -- if i were you I would wait until later -- also if you order from USA and delivery over to UK it cost a lots with extra cos with custom tax for enter UK plus delivery cost...

it depend how much is the value when you buy any goods from USA then custom can check and if it excess then you will pay extra.
