Buying used CD player

Anything I should look out for when buying a used car CD player? It's a Sony CDX-S1.

Also, are they hard to install? I'm buying one for my Dad's Nissan Almera (crap motor, I know) which just has the standard cassette player.

No, they're very simple to install. At the most you'll need a plastic fascia adaptor and an ISO wiring adaptor.

As for buying one second hand, just make sure it works, I guess

Make sure you get the keycode if the unit has one set up.
