Buying xbox live points - abroad ?

Hi,

was wondering ( as i'm going to Hong Kong over xmas ) if i were to buy xbox ( and Wii ) point over there, will it work and acutally work out cheaper due to exchange rate and all that ?

I think it will work, and it might work out a little cheaper, but not by a huge amount.
