Buying Xbox Series X

I am looking at buying the Series X off some guy on Facebook in a 15 mile radius he has given me his home address and told me he has the receipt.

How would I go about Warranty? Will the Warranty be in his name or on the console?

You put the console serial number into the m$ website when logged in.

yeah the warranty is always with the console not the customer
