Hi all,

I've got a buzzing sound when the computer is under load. It's not the graphics card, and it's not the psu. In games I can hear it, also sometimes when playing the buzzing sound gets deeper and I get a split second lag. I've returned the cpu to stock and it's still the same. Currently running stock speeds.

Any ideas?

It's abit hard to judge if it's coming from the H110i, but I have a gut feeling it's actually the motherboard. Does a pump make a buzzing sound?

For instance when I load BF4, as soon as I get into the map the buzzing starts but it's 100% not the GPU.

It def does sound like coil whine, I had it on my EVGA 970GTX FTW. Now while am playing if I minimize and go to desktop the whine goes. Also on the Matrix Platinum card, the rog light changes when it's under load. When I goto desktop it goes to blue which means it's under no load, when I go back into the game it goes to orange meaning under load and buzzing starts again. However the buzzing isn't coming from the GPU.

Recorded it below:

You can make it out towards the end as I exist the game clearly. I start recording as am playing then exit.

My GFX card does this, and same with alt-tabbing out it goes away. Also toggling Sweet-fx on and off it get's even louder and then quieter.

Just learned to live with it.
